No eyebrows & big hair

BEDA day ten.

Today I’m deciding to reveal a bit of the girly side of me with a questionnaire-type meme I found on elleandblair.com.

#1). Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice makeup, or nice hair and no makeup?

My hair looks messy when I actually take the time to do it anyways, so I obviously have to choose messy hair and nice makeup.

#2). Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

It makes logical sense to choose no eyebrows, because they grow back faster, but I noticed a lot of girls answer no eyelashes because you can wear fake eyelashes, but tell me, without eyelashes what are the fake ones going to stick to? Either way, though, I choose the shaving of the eyebrows. It would give me the great oportunity to draw on fabulous eyebrows like Amanda Fucking Palmer, which is something I would do if I weren’t too chicken to actually shave off my eyebrows.

#3). Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

Sephora. I don’t own a single MAC product.

#4). Would you rather wear the lipgloss/lipliner look or the 80’s perm?

80’s perm, 100%, because I want one anyways.

#5). Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

Overdone blush. Obvious foundation freaks me out because this one time, in seventh grade, we had a substitue teacher who had the worst foundation line I have ever seen! The colour of her makeup was not even sort of close to her skin colour! She looked crazy.

#6). Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

MC Hammer pants! Who wouldn’t choose that? Well… maybe a cyclist.

#7). Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can’t be covered?

Really weird tan lines because I seem to get those anyways.

#8). Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?

Bad hair cut. I like putting my hair up Helena-Bonham Carter style, lots of pins and whatnot, and that would hide any evidence of a bad haircut. Or I’d stick a big flower in it to distract.

#9). Would you rather have Youtube or Twitter taken away forever?

Twitter. I live for Youtube.

#10). Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

Makeup brushes.

I hope this was a satisfying post. I didn’t know what else to do other than ramble on about how I did nothing today. I’m hoping I’ll get my camera out soon so I can post more of my own pictures!

My day + a blue review

BEDA day nine

I went to the movies today. By myself. But I wasn’t allowed to take the car so I had to walk. I live in a small community that exists ammid an average-sized city. It’s almost a small town, but not really, so it’s a community. But when you live in someplace small it’s hard to get lost. Somehow, being me, I did get kind of lost. I didn’t want to walk along the major road so I tried to walk the short cut that I’ve only walked once, and I was trying to remember it, but I couldn’t. So at one point I walked in a giant circle. And it was hot, so I’m not going to lie, I was sweating a little (or “glistening”, if you will). I got really frustrated and decided just to find the big road to walk along. Then I was late for the movie, so I had to go see the 3D version, that or wait 2 more hours to pay less money for the non-3D movie.

When I finally got to the movie theatre I bought my ticket and some popcorn and a drink and went to my seat. Good things started happening when the guy ripping tickets was really nice and was talking to me. I’m not a very social person, so it’s nice when people are friendly to me. Then I sat at the very side of the theatre just on my own. Took my flip flops off (I had the worst blisters) and then I was really comfortable and my anger from walking way too much went away. (I took the bus home, just fyi).

So I went to see The Smurfs movie!

Would you like a quick review?

It was so cute! I really enjoyed it, because I love movies for kids. Good ones, at least. And this was a good children’s movie. Now the Smurf’s theme song is stuck in my head, but I like it, so it’s okay.

How many times I would see it: I’d see it again if someone asked. Probably not too soon, though. But I did probably enjoy the movie the most in the theatre full of little kids and their parents (and strangely enough two teenaged boys looked like they wound up in the wrong movie, but probably didn’t or else they would have left).

Also I’d like to confess that I’ve been playing Smurfs Village (an app, similar to Farmville, but better, for iPhones/iPod touch). I’m on level 13 right now.
